"I took my books to school in a plastic bag"

There's a new trend gaining traction on social media: parents and children take a step forward whenever they identify with a quote about their childhood. In the end, children often end up taking a step further, revealing the opportunities they had that their parents didn't experience in their youth. Katia Aveiro was one of the public figures who embraced this trend with her little Valentina .
The topic also appeared on the "Passadeira Vermelha" program, where Liliana Campos took the opportunity to recall some episodes from her childhood. The SIC Caras presenter said she never owned a bicycle, slept on a couch until she was 9, and used the same backpack for school year after year. But, in her own words, the "worst" part was when she "carried her books to school in a plastic bag."

Liliana explained that, at the time, many children lived a similar reality: "Those who came from Africa, at that time, didn't have money for food, let alone for this."
And he concluded: "It was sad that you went to school with your books in a plastic bag, it was very sad ."
